Newborn Baby Photography Chester

The first few weeks of your newborn's life are some of the most precious, exciting and let's be honest.....exhausting times but they fly by all too quickly. We get asked for more information about our Newborn Sessions so regularly that I thought I could write a blog post to answer your frequently asked questions.

The best age for Newborn Baby portraits is while your baby is still under 3 weeks old. Many of our clients book their session in advance for approx 2 weeks after their due date and we can amend this booking if your baby is early or late. We practice safe posing techniques and put the comfort and safety of your baby first.

Newborn Baby Sessions can take a few hours as we like to work around your baby and their needs. The studio is regulated at a nice warm temperature so we often recommend that our clients dress in layers and cool clothing to keep comfortable and drinks are always provided.

We are very proud to be a specialist newborn baby photographer and love to help our clients preserve this moment and captures those delicate details for you to share and look back on for years to come. With over 12 years experience photographing babies, handling them safely with care and confidence, you can trust us to patiently create beautiful portraits for you to cherish. We have a wide variety of soft, beautifully made props and blankets for you to choose from so that the finished portraits are tailor made to you and your home.

We often get asked about including siblings on our Newborn Baby Portrait Sessions and it is certainly something we encourage. It's lovely for big brothers and sisters to feel involved and join in the fun. Family portraits are also available on all our Newborn Sessions at no extra charge.

A beautiful family portrait is all about the emotion. It really is not that important what you wear as long as you all match. However, I do think that more plain clothes work better than bright colours and bold patterns. We have a wonderful collection of props and adorable accessories for you to choose from but if you have something special that you would like us to include in your pictures, please feel free to bring it along.

We regularly get asked if we sell digital images on usb and CD. We understand how important it is to have the flexibility of a digital portraits so a complete or part set of digital images from your session is available for purchase. However, we do feel that the beautiful professional portraits that we are going to create deserve to be displayed on only the best quality products. We have a full range of luxury print collections, wall portraits and albums that can be bought either on their own or as part as a package that includes digital files. We have packages and products to suits all tastes and budgets with prices starting from £30.

Our newborn Baby Sessions can be booked from your 20 week scan and we recommend booking in as soon as you can to avoid disappointment as we get booked up due to demand.
