Curiouser & Curiouser

As may of you know, we have been working on a continuous project based on children's storybooks and our 1st book theme was 'Where the Wild Things are'. We love to plan these photo shoots and make the costumes and props so we couldn't wait to start on our 2nd book theme.

Alice's Adventures In Wonderland was the book we chose as the theme for this next shoot as it has such great characters and the surreal events that happen to Alice really appealed to me to recreate.

Our little model Millie made the perfect Alice and really enjoyed playing the part and even came up with some fun ideas herself. If we do this theme again I might be brave enough to have a real rabbit in the studio too?.......maybe!? ha ha

We will be getting these images made into a book to add to our collection. The nice thing now is that we have all the props and outfit so it is available for anybody who would like to book this themed portrait session for their children.

We are always open to suggestions so if there is a story book that you loved from your childhood or that your children love, why not suggest it and we can see if we can bring it to life.

Tempted to do the Gruffalo next? Might need to start working on a little mouse costume.........
